Tip of The Day : Decoupling Capacitor

There is one type of component that appears in almost every type of design: the decoupling capacitor.
The word “decoupling” really means “noise-absorbing”.
These capacitors are located on the power input pins of nearly every type of active device.
Their purpose in life is to absorb (or more correctly, shunt to ground) electrical noise which is generated in the active device.

Program : HEX To ASCII Conversion

Hello Everyone,

If you're willing to convert the values of 0 to 999 Decimal range (8 bit data) into their ASCII values then here is the program with explanation :


(and if you have 16 bit data then I'll post that too, just tell me)

    x = y / 10;                // after execution, x will have answer and y will have remainder

                                   // means you've got d1;your LSD (Least Significant Digit)
   d2 = x % 10             // after execution x will have no change and d2 will have

Normally to get no.s displayed people often uses "sprintf" function in C, but it occupies a large space in your memory.
So this one is the better option to do so.

Tip of the day: Open Drain O/P Means ???

"Open Drain output means", it is not having capability to drive the load connected at its output.(normally needs Pull up resistors to drive the load).

The CC2500 is a low-cost 2.4 GHz transceiver designed for very low-power wireless applications.
Introduced by Texas Instruments.

The circuit is intended for the 2400-2483.5 MHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) and SRD (Short Range Device) frequency band.

Tip of the Day: Interfacing: CMOS - TTL

Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) is having lower O/P current than Transistor-Transistor-Logic(TTL).

So if CMOS is interfacing with TTL then O/P current of CMOS is raised by using Buffer.
